Issue/Introduction

How to setup a custom SAML Application in JumpCloud IDP for Carbon Black Cloud AuthHub migration.

Environment

• Carbon Black Cloud Console: Current Version
• JumpCloud SSO IDP

Resolution

1. Follow the steps from the JumpCloud knowledge base for setting up a Custom SAML Application for Carbon Black Cloud
2. Follow the steps in the Carbon Black Community post for a Federated ORG using the Migration Wizard.
3. From the Migration Wizard, copy the .xml and certificate information from AuthHub configuration.
4. Save the Recovery User information from the Migration Wizard for emergency use.
5. Import the .xml and .cer files from the Migration Wizard into the JumpCloud SSO configuration for the Carbon Black Cloud custom SAML Application
6. Finish the Migration Wizard and attempt login to the Carbon Black Cloud console using SSO credentials.
7. If successfully logged in, then "Finalize" the Migration Wizard. If login is unsuccessful, open a Support case for additional assistance.
