"Error 0x80010135: Path too long"" when extracting the AAI 24.1 Windows installer/upgrader

Issue/Introduction

The error below may be seen when extracting the AAI 24.1 Windows installer/upgrade zip file:

Cause

Path of file is too long to extract with standard Windows extraction tool

Resolution

Using a tool other than Windows Extract tool such as 7-Zip to extract the file will workaround this error.

 

If you cannot download a tool like 7-Zip, you can rename the .zip file to AAI_24_1.zip and copy it to the root of your C:\ drive or other application drive and unzip the file from that directory, which will allow it to complete.
