Changing the edge name does not reflect properly in the remote diagnostics tab

Issue/Introduction

Customers may notice that after they change the name of their edges on the VCO, if they perform any remote diagnostics that include the edge as an output (example list of paths towards that specific edge), they may notice that the edge is showing the old name instead of the recently changed name.

Environment

Customer name changing the Velocloud Edge on the Orchestrator.

Cause

When the edge name is changed, the information is not propagated to the other edges unless they tear down the tunnels with the edge that had the name change then form the tunnels again.

When this happens, the name change will be propagated to the other edges and will be updated to the new name.

Resolution

In order to force the tunnels to be reformed, after name change of a specific edge, the customer should service restart the edge to force the edge to tear down all the tunnels on the edge then once the tunnels re-form , the new name will be propagated to the other edges.
