Issue/Introduction

OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3 returns the incorrect uptime of NSX manager/edges which does not match with the actual uptime.

Environment

VMware NSX

Cause

The SNMP agent that is running on NSX manager/edge does not have a OID that can show system uptime.

Resolution

There is no OID present for SNMP agent in NSX to monitor the uptime of manager/edges. Hence, we cannot fetch the uptime of NSX manager/edge through any third party tool.
