Issue/Introduction

Aria Operations for Logs agent receive below error messages:
"Lockdown: liagent: /dev/men,kmen,port is restricted; see man kernel_lockdown.7"

Environment

Aria Operations for Logs: 8.18.3
RHEL: 9.5

Cause

Aria Operations for Logs (AOL) agent can't get "Machine UUID" info to show in the AOL agent log file when VM is configured to boot via UEFI secure boot mode.

Resolution

Currently, there is no way to avoid "Lockdown: liagent: /dev/men,kmen,port is restricted; see man kernel_lockdown.7" error message.
However, there is no any impact on the log collection site just getting error when agent time by time try to get machine ID
