Using the Edit button for the report schedule, do the changes, and click OK and no errors are seen. When the report schedule is opened again for editing, all the old values are there. The changes were not saved.

The required Time zone field is empty in the Schedule Report page
Verify that the Time zone field has the correct time zone for the report populated while editing the schedule
When the server received your "Save" request, it saw the Time Zone was missing. It flagged the request as invalid and rejected the entire update. Consequently, your email change was discarded along with it.
Aria Operations scheduler is extremely strict about Time Zones.
Every time you edit a schedule, the system must immediately recalculate the "Next Run Time" .
It cannot calculate this without a Time Zone.
Because it couldn't calculate the next run, it blocked the save to prevent the schedule from breaking or never running.
