Issue/Introduction

  • Attempting to delete a workload domain fails with Error Failed to delete vCenter adapter <vCenter_Name> from VMware Aria Operations <Aria/vROPs_Appliance>

  • Logging into the Aria Operations UI confirms the vCenter adapter for the specific Workload Domain has already been manually removed or does not exist.

  • Connectivity between SDDC Manager and Aria Operations is healthy.

Environment

VCF 5.x

Resolution

To resolve this issue, Take a Snapshot of the SDDC Manager VM and Contact Broadcom VCF Support as given the sensitive nature of manual database edits within the SDDC Manager databases, these steps must be performed under the guidance of a VCF Technical Support Engineer.
