Distinction between named users and TDOD users via the license stats retrieved using Telemetry function

Issue/Introduction

Currently, TDM 4.11 does not provide segregation between admins (Named Users) vs Test Data on Demand (Concurrent) users. As of now, the test data on demand (concurrent users) is showing up named users as well, which should not be the case.

Cause

This is working as designed. The Telemetry metrics are designed against the Product SKUs, to help us license the product.

 

Resolution

Engineering cannot make this change, as it impacts licensing. Stop running Self-service tiles as admins, and the Telemetry reports will show you the usage by concurrent users.
