Is it possible within CA Business Intelligence (CABI) 4.x to generate a schedule Web Intelligence (WEBI) report to Excel XLS format instead of XLSX format?

Issue/Introduction

Question

In CA Business Intelligence (CABI) 3.x, it was possible to schedule a Web Intelligence (WEBI) report to XLS format.  However, in CABI 4.x, scheduling a WEBI report generates a XLSX format. 

Is it possible within CA Business Intelligence (CABI) 4.x to generate a schedule Web Intelligence (WEBI) report to Excel XLS format instead of XLSX format?

Answer

In CABI 4.x, the scheduled WEBI report will be created in a XLSX format only. It is not possible to change the format to XLS - this is by design with SAP BOXI 4.x.
