Issue/Introduction

There may be situations where tagged Aurora Serverless V2 are showing as allocated to a perspective group within the Asset report and FlexReports while others show under "Other" (Assets not Allocated)

Resolution

Aurora Serverless V2 machines can be migrated from RDS to Aurora Serverless V2.  In these situations, the platform maintains an asset record for them and in return will get allocated to a perspective group.  

If there is no migration beforehand and the Aurora Serverless V2 machines were created directly, the allocation will fall to "Other" or "Assets Not Allocated".  This is expected behavior.  Full tagging support is planned on being built into the platform Q2 2026.
