Customer has tools that can only use 110 records. They don't want to receive 255 records from SYSVIEW.
110 records being written to SMF by CICS shows that you should have MN=ON and MNPER=ON in the CICS SIT (this can be viewed by using the CSIT command).
In the SVWCOPTS parmlib member is the option MONITOR-PERFORMANCE. This can also influence the records. The default value is CICS, which means we won't influence it, you should get what you have coded in the SIT. A value of YES or NO, regardless of the SIT settings, means you will or will not get 110 records written to SMF.
In addition, if you don't want the SYSVIEW 255 transaction records, then specify this in the CICSLOGR parmlib member.
LOG-TRANSACTIONS-SMF NO
This is the default value we ship.
