CPU utilization high on Primary hub due to MCS SSRV2 SelfServiceProbe process

Issue/Introduction

We are facing issues in our Primary hub where the CPU is hitting 99-100% utilization frequently because of the mon_config_service probe.

 

Environment

• Large-scale UIM environment using MCS for all monitoring configuration
• DX UIM 23.4 CU2
• mon_config_service v23.4.2

 

Cause

• Memory leak in SSRV2 process in mon_config_service v23.4.2
• Consuming more memory and more CPU over time (within 1-2 day time period)

Resolution

• Upgrade mon_config_service to v23.4.3
