Issue: 

BAS10050E LENGTH OF JOBCLASS MUST BE ONE FOR JES2 SYSTEMS 

Environment:  

CA MICS any release. 

Cause: 

For the CLASS parm in either JCLDEF (unit) or JCLDEFC (complex), the value for CLASS can only be one character . 

Resolution:

Correct  the CLASS value and rerun the JCLGENx job.
