I am building a List Widget in the Dashboard Designer using the "component filter" that is available when I use the "Metric" column type.
The component Filters lets you type in the filter. Once we put a filter for example: "D:" the filter then corrupts and it doesn't filter the component as expected
After saving "D:" it translates it then into: D>, effectively corrupting the filter.
DX UIM 23.4.3 (CU3)
Defect: an issue with character translation when putting the filter ":" or "\" it translates it incorrectly, invalidating the component filter.
This character translation issue is fixed in DX UIM 23.4.4 (CU4)
In the meantime, follow the instructions below to create a working component filter:
In component filter, select the condition for the filter: (contains, start with etc.)
DO NOT use the drop down to select your custom filter, but type it in. For example, "Partition D"
NOTES:
DO NOT TYPE "Partition D:\" or "Partition D:" or any other combination with including ":" or "/" as those character will break the search
DO NOT type only "D" because D is too short, we need at least 3 characters for searching.
When typing your own filter, always click outside in a white space so it saves it and then only click OK.
