Telegraf continue to trigger alert after the monitor server decommissioned

Issue/Introduction

Telegraf agent was installed in physical server.

After the physical server decommissioned, the telegraf endpoint continue to trigger the alert about "object data not receiving".

Uninstall option on telegraf endpoint is greyed out.

Environment

Aria Operations 8.18.x

Cause

Inconsistent data between Aria Operations and vSphere due to the monitor object decommissioned incidentally.

Resolution

Manually delete the target endpoint in inventory management:

1.Login to Aria Operations UI with admin role.

2.Click Operations-> Configurations->Inventory Management.

3.Click Adapter Instances ->VMware Aria Operations Application Management Adapter Instance.

4.Search the name of target telegraf endpoint in the filter on right panel.

5.Choose the object and click the Delete Object button on above banner.

6.Check again in below UI and make sure no endpoint showing any more.
