Issue/Introduction

The objective of this article is to guide on identifying the integration account for Compute manager in an SDDC environment

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 5.x

Resolution

1. SSH to NSX Manager using root account

2. Navigate to log - /var/log/cm-inventory/cm-inventory.log. You shall see an entry similar to below -

3. In a VCF environment, if no changes have been made post bring-up, compute manager uses a service account for integration with a naming convention of "[email protected]". This account shall have Administrator privileges under vCenter Global permissions.

4. It is not recommended to make any changes to this account manually.
