Issue/Introduction

CA APM on-premise 10.8 SP1 (cluster) has been integrated with DX SAAS.

How to increase the limit of metrics that are being sent from on premise APM 10.8 cluster to DX SAAS?

Based on the observation from the integration related metrics and from the EM logs, it looks like current limit is 60000 per EM. See this message in the APM 10.8 EM log.

Resolution

You can set following property on EM

Add in IntroscopeEnterpriseManager.properties file:

Example:

introscope.enterprisemanager.doi.plugin.clamp.count=90000

You increasing this value gradually. You may have to increase the min and max heap settings on the EM JVM.
