Resolution
Option 1:Transition to File System High-Speed Discovery.
Customer should migrate to the File System High-Speed Discovery Solution.
This method enables PST file scanning without dependency on Microsoft Outlook on each Windows detection server.
Ensures continued functionality beyond Outlook 2016’s end-of-life.
Reduces reliance on third-party or external software dependency.
Option 2: Continue using Outlook 2016
Customers who cannot transition to File System High Speed Discover may continue using Microsoft Outlook 2016 as the prerequisite software for PST file scanning with the File System target in a Network Discover server type on a Windows Detection Server.
