Issue/Introduction

In AWI, workflow editor not saving all changes in Task Properties. 

Examples:

Example 1:

  • Edit a workflow with multiple subworkflows

  • change Promptset values for a couple of sub workflows

  • add/remove Preconditions for subworkflows (via copy/paste or edit manually)

  • click "Save"

  • refresh browser or switch to Readonly mode

Actual Results

  • changes to Preconditions were saved

  • changes to Promptset values were not saved

  • WORKAROUND: change only prompt set values

Expected Results

  • All changes are saved

 

Example 2:

  • Create an FTP task that has variables for things like source host, destination host, source file, destination file. 
    For the FTP, use the Copy command and set 
    From: &FTP_SOURCE_HOST#               To: &FTP_DEST_HOST#

Connection  &FTP_SOURCE_HOST#        &FTP_DEST_HOST#    
Path         &FTP_SOURCE_FILE#        &FTP_DEST_FILE#

  • Create a standard workflow.
  • Add this FTP job to the workflow 2 times.
  • Select Properties
  • Select the first instance of the task
  • In the variables tab, type in anything for the values for the variables.
  • Select the second instance of the task and do the same. 
  • Save the workflow.
  • Close the workflow.
  • Open the workflow.

Actual Results:

  • In v24, click on both tasks - your changes are only in one of the tasks.

Expected Results:

  • In v24, click on both tasks - your changes are only in one of the tasks.
