Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• Reprotect is failing in SRM - ' Failed to reverse replication for device #####.#' Failed to reverse replication for device 365996.129. SRA command 'reverseReplication' failed for device 365996.129."
• In the Site Pair under Array Pairs, when performing "Discover Devices," an error found: "Unable to find matching device at local site for remote device."

Validation:

Cause

Multiple factors can cause these errors, as below:
 
1. Missing or mismatched consistency group configuration or settings on the array between the sites

2. Device mismatch between the local and remote array

3. Incorrect local and remote array managers are paired in SRM

4. Network communication issues between sites 

Resolution

To fix the issue, "Unable to find matching device at local site for remote device." follow the steps mentioned in  below KB:

Unable to find a matching consistency group at the local site for the remote consistency group OR Unable to find a matching device at the local site for the remote device
