Issue/Introduction

Question:

How can I display the options being used by Panvalet?

Environment:

z/OS

Answer:

The PAN#2 utility with ++PRINT FGPAN23 or PCOPTION will display the option settings as shown here.

//STEP1       EXEC PGM=PAN#2,PARM=('OPEN=INP')
//STEPLIB   DD DISP=SHR,DSN=your.panvalet14R6.CBA3LINK
//PANDD1    DD DISP=SHR,DSN=your.panlib
//SYSPRINT  DD SYSOUT=*
//SYSIN     DD *
++CONTROL nnnn
++PRINT FGPAN23
/*
//

Notes:

++CONTROL is only needed if used at your site

PARM=('OPEN=INP') is only needed to open the PANLIB as read only
