Use Dashboard to query performance data from Spectrum

Issue/Introduction

Trying to build a query that will grab data from a specific OID of a device in Spectrum. Don't see an option in OI Dashboards that would allow for selecting Spectrum as a Data source in the Panel options. The device however is in OI Inventory as a member of a service. How to build a query that would read the current value of the OID?

DX Intelligence Operations 

Resolution

Dashboard can't access OID directly. Spectrum don't store performance data and does not send them to OI.

As a workaround, if a Device is being monitor in PM, set PM connector to send the data to OI which will allow Dashboard to query the data.
