NSX-T data source shows Data Source Failed error in the Aria Operations for Networks

Issue/Introduction

• The status for the NSX-T data source is in failed stated (like below snippet).

• From the latest.log in the collector bundle, below error log can be seen.

ERROR dataprovider.utils.HttpUtils NSXT-XXXX.com_Config_OpMgr-0 checkCodeAndThrow:53 Could not get response for /policy/api/v1/infra/domains/default/groups/vRNI-Node_Group_Profile_TN_XXXXXXXX-8576-40e9-8007-XXXXXXXX, status 400

• The transport node XXXXXXXX-8576-40e9-8007-XXXXXXXX does not exist in the NSX manager, it can be verified when you run following API: GET https://{{nsx-ip}}/api/v1/transport-nodes/<tn-id>, In this example TN-ID would be XXXXXXXX-8576-40e9-8007-XXXXXXXX.

Resolution

Workaround:

To resolve the data collector issue, please navigate to Settings > Data Source > Click on Edit for NSX-T Data source > Uncheck this "Enable Latency metric collection" > Click Save/OK.

Now wait for 30 minutes and Check this again ("Enable Latency metric collection" ) by editing the NSX-T datasource.
