Issue/Introduction

• Can I deploy Spectrum Connector 2.0.04.260 with SOI Manager 4.3? 
• Are IFW Connectors compatible with SOI 4.2 CU5 also compatible with SOI 4.3? 
• Can I integrate my existing SOI 4.2 IFW connectors with SOI 4.3 Manager?

Resolution

• SOI 4.3 CU1 is compatible with all SOI 4.2 CU5 IFW compatible connectors. Verify --> Service Operations Insight Connectors
• Spectrum Connector 2.0.04.260, does not directly support SOI 4.3 CU1 but only through with SOI-4.2 CU5 IFW ^{NOTES BELOW}
• Existing SOI 4.2 IFW can be integrated with SOI 4.3 Manager CU1
• SOI Manager 4.3 must be upgraded to SOI 4.3 CU1 to support SOI 4.2 CU5 Compatible IFW connectors

Notes:

Native support for Spectrum connector for SOI 4.3 will be delivered in a future Cumulative Update 

For Spectrum connector 2.*.* to support SOI 4.3CU1 the following may be set up: 

1. Install SOI 4.2 Integration services on a separate machine (IntegrationServices.exe will be part of SOI 4.2 installer package)
    Click on \SOI4.2\Build_4.2.0.188\disk1\SOI\IntegrationServices.exe
2. During the above Installation provide ActiveMQ and SOI Manager instance details of SOI 4.3 CU1
3. Install Spectrum Connector on top of the above IFW Connector
    After the installation, we can see the connector details on the SOI 4.3 UI page and it will send all CIs and alerts to SOI 4.3 manager.
