Issue/Introduction

When the EDP discount automation feature is activated in AWS, line item details reflecting the EDP discount will be provided in the AWS Cost and Usage Report (CUR) file.  Consequently, when a Partner conducts a dry run, the results will include the discount line items associated with the EDP discount automation provided by AWS in the CUR file, along with other CPB rules.

Resolution

This (If EDP Discount are coming from AWS CUR) can be validated through FlexReports under the Partner tenant by comparing PreAdjustment with Unblended Cost , PostAdjustment with Net Unblended Cost  and CostDifferece with EDPDiscount for the line item where you see the discount in the dry-run results

>PreAdjustment,PostAdjustment,CostDifferece are columns from CPB (Custom Price Book) Dry run results.
>Unblended Cost,Net Unblended Cost,EDPDiscount are measures from the flex report.
