Issue/Introduction
You are unable to connect with superuser to Jaspersoft console, how to reset the password to connect. This may happen after upgrade or after adding another server in cluster
Environment
Jaspersoft 9.0 with Clarity
Resolution
Use another environment with Jaspersoft and working superuser. Connect to the Jaspersoft database and query JIUSER table :
select * from jiuser where username='superuser';
Ensure the user is enabled (enabled is set to 1)
Copy the password and update the environment that has the issue - connect to the Jaspersoft database and run the query:
update jiuser set password='<password retrieved in step 1>' where username='superuser';
Note: blank password will no longer work
