Issue/Introduction

Several "credit card" numbers are not being detected by the default Credit Card data identifier.

Example:
Cards starting with the Bank Identification Number (BIN) 604578 are not being detected.

Cause

Cards starting with 604578 are either debit cards or pre-paid cards.
Since they are not credit cards, they are not detected by the default Credit Card data identifier.

Resolution

You will need to create a custom data identifier for the debit cards and pre-paid cards.
Use the BIN number of those cards in the custom data identifiers.

Additional Information

There are several web sites that allow you to check the BIN to see what type of card it is.
Broadcom has no recommended BIN check web site.
