Portal Access Module not showing Permissions after upgrade to 14.5.1

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading to Portal 14.5.1 CHF1 the Permissions in the Access Module do not display any Permissions

Unless they are specifically searched for:

This impacts any of the tabs.   

Environment

Identity Portal 14.5.1

Cause

A new 'Lazy Load' feature was introduced to improve performance in environments with a large number of Permissions defined. 
The Portal can take minutes to load and display thousands of Permissions, to improve this performance we added 2 configuration options, Lazy load Applications tree, and Lazy load Permissions tree, to prevent Portal from loading all permissions before displaying them.

Optimize Load Time of Access Module Applications with Lazy Loading

Resolution

To return the Access Module to the older functionality where all Permissions are loaded immediately, log into Portal Admin, navigate to Setup > General Configuration > Access Module, and uncheck 

Lazy load Applications tree
Lazy load Permissions tree

 

Once unchecked the Permissions will load without specifically having to search:

 

Additional Information

If this does not immediately change the behavior, clear the Portal Cache.

Navigate to Portal Admin > Tools > Clear Cache > check "Select All' and click Clear Cache Button.
