Installation of cumulative patch for Client Automation are done using applyptf.exe and DeployWrapper.exe

Example : Download and Install the Patch

Does exist a MSI version for cumulative patch ?

Resolution

No there is no MSI Package for cumulative patches.

Cumulative patch could be installed :

• Manually using applyptf.exe tool
  Example :
  APPLYPTF.exe /NODE=<machine name> /PTF=99112084.jcl /INSTALLNEW /SILENT  /OUTPUTFILE=applyptf.log

or

• using the provided SD Package.
  Example : CA DSM Agent + Explorer +  Scalability Server 14.5 CU7 (Win32 only) - 14.5.7.632
  
  Example of command line executed by the SD Package :
  DeployWrapper.exe /INST ApplyPtfInstall /PTF=99112084.jcl /SILENT /INSTALLNEW  /OUTPUTFILE=applyptf.log
