Issue/Introduction

Problem:

After upgrading to a new release of the CA DB2 for z/OS product suite, starting RSPMAIN PARMLIB(hlq.CDBAPARM) SUFFIX(xx) fails to start returning back to Option 6 with no error message.

 

Cause:

Imbalanced parentheses for the DBRMCNTL DD within the DSNAMExx member of hlq.CDBAPARM.

 

Resolution:

Correct the incomplete syntax in the DSNAMExx member of hlq.CDBAPARM by balancing the necessary parentheses for all the datasets.
