Issue/Introduction

In our Production Environment we currently run CA 7 Release 11.3.  We want to upgrade our Production Environment to CA 7 Release 12.1.  Do we have to execute CAIRIM to initialize Version 12.1 at the same time? 

Resolution

CA 7 Release 11.3 CAIRIM is upward compatible with CA 7 Release 12/12.1. 

CA 7 12.0/12.1 CAIRIM is downward compatible with CA 7 Release 11.3. 

Only 1 statement should be in the CAIRIM for CA 7.
