Can CA Plex 7.3 customers expect any issues with upcoming version and security patches of Visual Studio 2022?

Has Broadcom tested any Visual Studio 2022 updates/patches?

Resolution

There is a regular cadence from Microsoft where Visual Studio 2022 minor version/security patches are being rolled out.

CA Plex Engineering is also upgrading the Visual Studio build levels in a few internal environments and validating some of the sample models generation and build.

Broadcom will be targeting latest available Visual Studio 2022 patch level for upcoming CA Plex PTF build validation.

As of March 2025, there is no ETA as to when the next CA Plex 7.3 PTF build will be published.
