Issue/Introduction

Oracle probe hanging .No metrics getting collected for the configured profile and getting profile timed out errors 

Environment

Any supported UIM version

oracle probe : 5.45 /5.45 T3

Resolution

The reason for the oracle probe hanging and getting profile timed out alarms are because of keeping the threshold value blank for all the checkpoints which are enabled in the profile.

Update the threshold value for all the checkpoints where are missing to fix the issue 

 

Additional Information

The oracle GUI should not allow to save with empty threshold value. Actually this issue is not happening for the first time threshold creation, but while editing it is allowing to save with blank threshold value and it is a corner case. 

However Engineering will consider this and fix it in upcoming oracle probe release.
