The Dell VA084 storage is reporting a disk error on Disk 0.xx and is showing that the health is degraded. Security Analytics is reporting a disk error as well. You may see a message reported in the Powervault Manager that says, "The disk has become leftover due to a timeout caused by disk degradation".

The disk that is showing as failed is actually in a LFTOVR state as shown in the log files.

When a hard drive is listed as "LEFTOVR" on a Dell system, it means the drive is considered a "leftover" disk, which typically indicates that it was once part of a RAID array but has been removed or excluded from the group, leaving it in a state where it's no longer actively used by the system but still contains data that might need to be managed or cleared before being reused fully.
The metadata from the leftover disks needs to be cleared so that the drive can be used again.
Verify the health of the storage array.
If after performing the above procedure, you receive any "Failure" errors, most likely the hard drive will need to be replaced. Contact technical support to open a case for drive RMA.
