Issue/Introduction

  • Process /usr/lib/vmware/tpm/bin/tpm2_listpersistent getting crashed during ESXi host log bundle collection
  • During the ESXi host log bundle /usr/lib/vmware/tpm/bin/tpm2_listpersistent application runs every time to collects the information about the TPM which helps to debug the issue with the TPM.
  • In the ESXi host log bundle under /var/run/log/vobd.log similar entries can be found,
