The Virtual services stuck with Error: "Creating snapshot (70%)"

Issue/Introduction

• Unable to bring up new virtual services on VMware Avi Load Balancer. Error on VS: creating snapshot (70%)
  
  
• No new Service Engines are getting created on AWS cloud. 

Environment

AWS cloud

Cause

• VMware Avi Load Balancer supports EBS and S3 encryption using AWS SSE-KMS which encrypts the Amazon Machine Image (AMI). In case EBS or/and S3 encryption is enabled on AWS, the cloud configuration on the VMware Avi load balancer should also have the same configured. 
  
• If the above is not configured correctly, the SE image (AMI) created will be auto-deleted by Vmware Avi load balancer due to KMS mismatch. 
• Below log can be seen under /opt/avi/log/cc_agent_<cloud_name>.log : 
  
  "KMS mismatch with config nil"
  
  

Resolution

Configure EBS/S3 encryption key in AWS cloud configuration integrated with Avi load balancer.
