Issue/Introduction

Disabling DADS in one CICS region only by commenting out the DADS PLT programs.
Is there an option to not display the menu page or disable the DADS/DADC transactions for one CICS region alone?

Resolution

There is no option available in DADS Plus to accomplish this. By removing DADSPI01 and DADSPI02 from PLTPI, DADS is no longer allocating the application files and other resources under DADS control( defined in the DADS01 file) to CICS at PLTPI startup time. To fully disable DADS in a CICS region remove the DADS RDO entries from being installed at PLTPI time.
