InterTest - Batch

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to use Intertest batch in ISPF the following error message is displayed.
CAVHCONF module not found in the CSA.

Environment

Z/OS

ISPF

Cause

Intertest batch was not initialized on the LPAR by executing Common Services program CAIRIM.

Resolution

Starting in release 10,  Intertest batch must be initialized on the LPAR by executing Common Services program CAIRIM. CAIRIM starts Intertest batch and loads the global options module CAVHCONF into system CSA storage. When Intertest batch is used, the CAVHCONF module must be found in storage. If the CAVHCONF module is not found in storage, the CAMR901E message will be displayed.

Please Review Topic Activate Your Product in the Intertest and Symdump documentation.

For example, add the following control card to the member or data set pointed to by the CAIRIM RIMPARM DD to initialize the InterTest and SymDump products. Intertest batch requires an SVC number. In the example below SVC number 220 is being used.

PRODUCT(CA INTERTEST/SYMDUMP) VERSION(VHB0) INIT(CAVHINIT) PARM(220)

Additional Information

An IPL is not required to start Intertest batch. You can create a standalone CAIRIM JOB just to start Intertest batch on the LPAR.
