Introduction:

User inadvertently put a password on a dataview and now does not remember the password.  This knowledge document will tell you how to find the password.

How can  find what the password is on a dataview?

Answer:

To find the password, run DDUTILTY with the following cards:

-USR DATACOM-INSTALL,NEWUSER

-RPT INDEX,DATAVIEW,ALL(PROD,PRIV)

-END

You will find the password at column 'PSWD'.
