Login is impossible when the JWPs are busy

Issue/Introduction

Under certain circumstances, the system becomes unresponsive when the JWP queue gets overloaded.

Most likely, this happens when long-running requests are received from AWI.

In the JWP logs, you will find Time Critical DB calls at the time that login was impossible.

Cause

During login, the available REST points are retrieved by the JWP. If the JWPs are busy due to long-running requests, the login therefore gets delayed.

Resolution

Solution:

Update to a fix version listed below or a newer version if available.

Automation.Engine 21.0.14 - Available

 

No fix is needed in v24.4 and higher because the JCP retrieves the available REST endpoints.
