Issue/Introduction

When importing a CSV file with the Parent field specified, all data is being imported except the parent field, The notification, additionally, throws the following warning:

 'Parent' : attribute(s) are not supported

Is there any limitation with data being imported?

Environment

Clarity 16.3.0, 16.3.1

Cause

The Parent field is a parameterized lookup and is not supported at this stage

Resolution

The CSV Import feature is still in beta and there are some limitations:

The following data types are supported:

  • Number
  • Percentage
  • Strings
  • Dates (Fixed)
  • Boolean
  • Lookups
  • Static Dynamic (SVL/MVL)
  • Money (Single currency Clarity System)
  • TSV

The following data types are not supported: 

  • Rich Text/Long String
  • OBS 
  • Picklist
  • Attachment
  • URL
  • Parameterized, and Static Dependent Lookups.

There are plans to enhance this functionality in future
