dx apm - saas links in dashboards broken with a redirect

Issue/Introduction

We have links on every page of our dashboard to allow us to drill down to data in graphs, which seem to have been broken with a recent Broadcom update

When i click show details on a dashboard it redirects to a link to the metric tree, which now gives a page not found, then redirects to the home page

This is impacting our ability to look at ongoing issues.  

Resolution

You need to replace your field data links with this URL: https://doi.dxi-na1.saas.broadcom.com/digital-oi/apm-metric-view?u=${__universe.universeId}&ts1=${__from}&ts2=${__to}&m=L&selectedMetrics=%5B%22${__series.name:percentencode}%22%5D

 

The hostname and path to the metric tree changed from apmgw.dxi-na1.saas.broadcom.com/<id>/apm/atc/#/metrics to doi.dxi-na1.saas.broadcom.com/digital-oi/apm-metric-view.

 

Your metric query can remain the same but the double quotes and square brackets need to be URL encoded.

 

The additional query variable, ${__universe.universeId}, is recommended for forward compatibility.
