Issue/Introduction

Savings Plan benefits may vary based on the billing configuration made at the Partner level.  It's important to understand how the section of various linked accounts in Partner Generated Billing (PGB) billing blocks will change how Savings Plans are applied to channel customer accounts.

Resolution

Account A > Payer account.

Account B > Linked Account to Account A and owns the Savings Plan.

Account C > Linked Account to Account A which doesn't have the Savings Plan.


In the above above scenario,

a. If the PGB block configured as Consolidated or Standalone and you select only Accounts A and C:
None of the Account will get Savings Plan benefit at the channel customer level.

b. If the account is Full Family or Consolidated block (which includes Account B):
All the accounts will get the Savings Plan benefit from Account B based on their usage and the Savings Plan capacity
