Unable to modify the IG client tools desktop shortcut, although client tools are updated to v14.5.1 CHF1 IG, the shortcut still refers to v14.5.0 EXE files

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading the IG client tools, double-clicking the IG client tool shortcut on the desktop points to the old v14.5.0 installation .exe file and fails to launch.

Environment

Identity Manager v14.5.x

Resolution

The solution is to replace the current desktop shortcut. Please follow the steps below:

1. Back up and remove the existing shortcut from the desktop.
2. Navigate to the "<Client_tools_Install_Loc>\Software" path. (C:\Program Files\CA\Identity Governance\Client Tools\Software is the default path) 
3. Right-click on the  "CA-RCM-DNA-14.5.1.exe" file and click on Create a shortcut.
4. Copy the shortcut onto your desktop.
