Use FlexReports to break costs down by specific categories

Issue/Introduction

The Cost History reports offer great built-in categories, however sometimes you may want to break costs down on other attributes. FlexReports offers this flexibility.

Resolution

To do so, you will want to add in the columns that you are interested in categorizing by.

For example, if you would like to see a cost breakdown based on what AWS has determined the line item type to be, you can create a report similar to that shown in the screenshot below.  This is achieved by adding in the LineItemType dimension:
