Deactivating CA 11 once it is not longer used

Issue/Introduction

What is the process to deactivate CA 11?   Is there a way to do this without having to IPL? 

Resolution

Perform the following to deactivate CA 11:

1.  Ensure that  CAS9 CAIRIM does not initialize CA 11 at IPL time by removing the product card from the CAIRIM PARMLIB member.  
2.  Remove the CAL7LOAD library for CA 11.
3.  Discontinue the startup of the CA 11 task . 

  You can shutdown the active CA 11 task at anytime without having to IPL, but the changes for CAIRIM will not go into effect until the next IPL occurs.  To remove the CA 11 product card from CAIRIM, find your CAS9 proc and look at the dataset and member the PARMLIB DD statement points to and remove the CA 11 reference that will look similar to the following:
