Issue/Introduction

We understand that self-monitoring alarms are generated when a profile resource item is no longer available and would like to disable them.
How can self-monitoring alarms be disabled?

Environment

Any cohesity_monitor probe version

Resolution

1. In Infrastructure Manager, ctrl + right-click on the cohesity_monitor probe, select Raw Configure.
2. Click on the Setup folder.
3. Add a new key name: enable_self_monitoring_alarm = false
4. Click OK, Apply and OK
