Loading the IP address for VMware Aria Automation host/LB in the browser gives a 404 error

Issue/Introduction

• Opening the Aria Automation host IP address over http or https gives a 404 error
• Opening the Aria Automation cluster VIP for the load balancer gives a 404 error

Environment

• VMware Aria Automation 8.x

Cause

• Aria Automation 8.x uses TLS Server Name Indication (SNI) to identify the web server. Pages referenced via the IP address will not be recognised.

Resolution

• Open the cluster FQDN over https to access Aria Automation 
• For a single-node system this is the node FQDN
