Issue/Introduction

After upgrading to Server 8.11.0 a Health Indicator from the OER Summary fails, example:

Number of CPU Cores on SQL Server Requirement not met

Environment

  • App Control Server: 8.11.0+

Cause

New logic in the Health Indicators accounts for different Server Types based on the Operating Environment Requirements.

Resolution

Verify the Server Type is set correctly

  1. Log in to the Console and navigate to Settings > System Configuration > General
  2. Click Edit
  3. Change the Server Type accordingly (ex: VMware vSphere)
  4. Click Update and save the changes
  5. Navigate to Settings > System Health and refresh the relevant Health Indicator.

If the issue persists:

  1. Review the Architecture by Endpoint Count in the OER and increase resources accordingly.
  2. If meeting the requirements, open a case with Support and provide
    • Screenshot of the full Health Indicators showing the failure.
    • Results of the latest CB Analysis Script
