Following the update of Messaging Gateway (SMG) to version 10.9.1 an alert email is sent to the email address configured for the admin user indicating that the log rotation status file is world readable.

/etc/cron.hourly/logrotate:
warning: state file /var/lib/logrotate/logrotate.status is world-readable and thus can be locked from other unprivileged users. Skipping lock acquisition...
This issue is currently under investigation.
This issue appears to occur once immediately following the upgrade to SMG version 10.9.1 at which point the logrotate service appears to correct the permissions no the logrotate.status file.
There does not appear to be any interruption of log rotation and the warning may be safely ignored.
